Our Story
We never imagined we would find love on opposite coasts, but here we are. Our story is one of patience, sacrifice, and devotion to each other. We matched on Meet and Right and Michael swept Tina off her feet from the first message.
So how did he do it? By asking, “Hey! Why is IV Tylenol so expensive?” It worked; If you ask Michael, Tina was officially smitten from that moment on. But if you ask Tina, it was the most ridiculous thing to say to start the conversation; nevertheless, it worked!

We were always long-distance, but it shaped our love in many ways. Michael would take 36-hour trips and hop on red-eye flights to see Tina. Likewise, Tina would move mountains to see Michael. We discovered each other’s favorite things while forming new shared hobbies. Michael learned (and was horrified by) how much Tina would spend on a cup of good coffee. Tina discovered to what ends Michael would go to for a breakfast burrito. Tina learned how to shoot a bow and arrow, and Michael learned to order one of everything on a menu.
It did not take us long before realizing we wanted to be together forever. Michael had devised a plan to surprise Tina, flying overnight to New Jersey to propose. Tina, however, caught on too quickly. After plans were set in place, she caught on, asking, “are you proposing this week?” Shocked and in a panic, Michael quickly changed plans in a last-ditch effort to keep it a surprise, proposing one day earlier than expected. Still, Tina figured it out.
Regardless of the circumstances the proposal was perfect.
